“Limbic Resonance” is a messy pilot. The first three episodes of Sense8 were sent out to critics, and from what I can gather from most of the reviews I’ve read an heard, people had no idea exactly what they were watching. This is a relief for me, because I’ve only seen one episode of the show, and I can make neither head nor tail of it. I understand the premise: eight strangers are telepathically linked after they all see a strange woman kill herself in an abandoned church that we learn is in Chicago. This woman sees people, one of whom is Naveen Andrews, one of my favourite actors from Lost, and another man she fears so much she killed herself so as not to have to deal with him any more. The act of her suicide brings these eight people together, but we don’t know how or why.
