Hi, my name is Leah. I live in Melbourne, Australia, and I love pop culture. I mainly write about television, but there will also be book and film reviews on an irregular basis. I don’t have access to screeners, therefore all of my posts will be published after episodes have been broadcast in Australia, usually within 24 hours. I tend to do entire season reviews for shows that drop all at once on Netflix, or if I catch up on DVD. I have been watching the fifth season of Lost since May 2015, and I don’t think I’ve seen an episode since June, so that will probably end up being my summer project. (March 29 Update: I still haven’t finished the 5th season of Lost, I think I have to go back).

My main project at the moment is recaps of Australian television, which you can find in the menu at the top of the blog. I love cooking reality shows with the exception of My Kitchen Rules, and there are some really great Australian comedies out there at the moment, including Upper Middle BoganUtopia and Please Like Me.

I challenged myself to write every day in 2015, and I was successful apart from one day. It was an exercise to improve my writing. This year I have some other things I’d like to focus on, so the blog is taking a back seat. I started writing for Decider TV in the first half of 2016. I have an opinion piece up there, and I’m writing the weekly streaming guides, so if you want to know what’s new on Australian streaming services, that’s the best place to go.

If you want to contact me, comments are welcome but keep politics out of it – this blog is strictly apolitical, and feel free to follow me on Twitter @forthejokes.
